6 - 11 April: Voice and Clowning

Directed by Vivian Gladwell (guest clown and teacher) with David Goldsworthy

In this workshop, we will work towards: 1) the development of the expressive qualities of the voice (sensitivity, force, timbre, speech, song, improvisation) and the integration of voice in clown improvisation, and 2) exploration of the wider perspectives of clown theatre offered by the synthesis of the two artistic disciplines.

A basic training in clowning, theatre, or voice work is needed to be in this workshop.
