WEARING OURSELVES LIGHTLY
Friday July 18, 2025 - Sunday July 20, 2025
Clowning is an invitation to enjoy the poetry of being human.
This approach to Clown is not about tricks or routines, or even being happy. It is a journey of heart that drops us into the here and now, where listening and presence guide us through doors of seriously playful self-discovery. Please note: the results can be affirming and liberating!
There is no requirement for this workshop beyond a pinch of willingness to show up and see what happens.
Whether you are coming for the first time, or returning for more – all are welcome!!! Each workshop is unique and much is possible.
The group is limited to 8.
Facilitator:

For as long as Sarah remembers, she has been interested in how people play. She had set out as a practicing psychotherapist when she stumbled into the paradoxical world of Clown, which set her on an enlivening path, despite her hesitations and fears. She has collaborated with Vivian Gladwell of Nose to Nose since 2012. Sarah considers that she has many teachers, including the spinner dolphins of Hawaii, who are the clowns of the sea.
In 2021, Sarah founded Fool Tree, a small center for the playful arts in Ghent, NY, where she continues to facilitate clowning workshops, transformational tarot, and other community events.
