Nose to Nose Goes to Alaska!

This June, Nose to Nose joins The New Old Time Chautauqua journeying North by bus under the wide open skies of the Alcan on a month-long tour of Southcentral Alaska, including Talkeetna, Anchorage, Seward, and Homer.

The “Be Mary” tour will celebrate the life and legacy of Mary Langham – artist, circus founder and educator, mother, teacher, doctor, writer, Chautauqua Tour Organizer, and just an all-around joyfully dynamic person. We will visit prisons for youth, women, and men; homeless and at-risk populations; indigenous communities; adults with disabilities; and Mary’s friends, family and community. We will collaborate with the Green Light Circus founded by Mary in Talkeetna, and will also collaborate in Homer with the Pier One Theatre, where Mary’s cast members still perform.

We will be offering clowning workshops open to the local community in Bellingham, WA and in Talkeetna, Anchorage, Seward, and Homer. Come join us for workshops, potlucks, parades, and shows along the way.
