THE COURAGE TO PLAY – Weaving Clowning and Reflective Practices – a week-end
Friday March 16, 2018 - Sunday March 18, 2018
Starts 09:00 on first day - Finishes 17:30 on last day
With Angie Foster and Penny Williamson
I would love to live
Like a river flows,
Carried by the surprise
Of its own unfolding.
Come join us to explore how the playfulness of the clown and the courage of open-hearted exploration can come into your life and work as a leader, teacher, human being. Nose t0 Nose © clowning and the Circle of Trust © work of Parker Palmer share a belief in the power of living authentic and undivided lives.
Through clowning we can connect to our playful spirit. We explore the fears that may block us from being fully present. We become aware of images and paradoxes. We explore the courage to be who we truly are. Through the Circle of Trust® approach we create a process of shared exploration. We create a safe space for reflection and meaningful conversations to make deeper sense of what we are experiencing. We find the courage to
share our vulnerabilities, delights, gifts and limits. We learn to trust our own wisdom to align our inner life with our outer work in the world.
In this workshop we will interweave clowning and circle of trust explorations. There will be time for learning together in the whole group, as well as time in small groups and chances for personal reflection and solitude.
The course is limited to 12 people and is open to everyone regardless of experience
